No swarms in 3 years! I set up a CD player in the Apiary from the end of April to late September from 6am til dusk continuously playing that great classic 'The Birdy Song'.
No swarms but the downside is there is little honey as the bees stay indoors a lot, did think of 'Mr Blue Skies'...

Views appreciated!

2 tips - do not sterilise poly hives with garden flame thrower and keep smiling it cuts down sarcasm, have a good summer.

It varies.
Depending on your musical tastes you could prompt them with a little Bobby Goldsboro or with one of Robert Plant's post Zepplin bands.

What about the Drifters, 'cause I would give sweets for my sweet, sugar for my honey.....

Too many - but not nearly enough
Just on my first maluti mountain beer now after taking delivery of my first 25 top bars for the new hives!

Or if you really want to promote swarms Paul Youngs 'Wherever I lay my hat, that's my home' works wonders!
