What do you do when there is a pollen block in bee combs under queen bee trap

Hi it happens to me with large prolific colonies that at peak time the bottom brood chamber gets rammed with pollen many frames completely filled. I simply add another brood chamber giving the queen more space. Come the end of my main flow I simply consolidate back down. After extracting if I find any combs with large areas of pollen these are reserved to go back on the hives or expanding nucs, as it’s pointless storing them due to mould the pollen gets. Unfortunately I don’t think there is a magic bullet for this natural instinct of the bees it’s purely how we deal with it. Ian

You could potentially trap some of the pollen coming in and either sell or give to the bees some other time of the year?

She could remove the pollen blocks when he put the queen under the grill.
