Aborted drones or something nastier?

Just found a small number of possibly aborted drone larva out on the front area of my Warre hive. Not opened for several weeks now.
Do you far more experienced bee people have an explanation?
Hope it’s not a sickness.

But I would certainly take a look if possible, in case there's anything else going on.

I appreciate that with a Warre this can be easier said...

I agree, could be starvation or varroasis
