A Beekeepers Lament

I recently bought a new book from the USA - A Beekeepers Lament. I was not certain that this would be worth the read as it pictures the life of a major US Bee farmer and I doubted that I would learn anything that I had not seen on the various documentaries re Colony Collapse Disorder. The book is surprisingly interesting and a lot was new especially in relation to monoculture and the way in which these bee farmers handle their thousands of hives. I would recommend it as definitely worth a read.
