A heavy roof won't blow off - a roof as light as a feather will, so you would presumably need extra weight on top or a strap to hold it down, so a one-piece roof with a paving slab in it and a piece of cellotex MUST be the way to go!

LOL.

I strap all my roofs to a pallet to stop them blowing away/stop them topping over

I hate those buckle locks!

Got to be ratchet straps for me.

Think I pay £18 for 10 but worth the investment.

I’ve had the old swienty roofs for years. ...My only problem is with a normal wooden crown board they are a fraction to shallow imo. So simply made a few with a single sided trim to create bee space.

How thick are your crownboards?! I use the roofs with double-sided or single-sided beespace crownbaords, and have not found that the Swienty roofs are too shallow for either.
