I have 6 thriving colonies of bees available for sale immediately. All headed by 2021 local queens. 4 are in Abelo poly hives, 2 are in Paynes poly, 3 overwintered on double brood, 3 on brood and half. All standard National. All treated for varroa with Maqs in early September and OA vap in mid December.
£330 per colony - to include stand, OMF, 2 brood boxes (drawn comb), roof, feeder, crown board and one super with drawn comb. 3 have Abelo OMFs, 3 have sturdy home made OMFs with underfloor entrances.
All hives were purchased in 2020 or 2021, very few frames need replacing this season so all good to go and produce honey! They were very productive for me last year.
Colonies inspected 27th March and all queen right and healthy, building up well for this time of year.
Plenty more supers with drawn comb and other bits available by negotiation.
Also 3 Paynes poly nuc boxes and 1 BS poly nuc, all with drawn comb all excellent condition. £30 each.
Withdrawing from beekeeping due to time conflicts with other activities. Something had to give!
