Nuc's come with a current year queen and a travel box can be provided.
Available from May onwards.

I have always had excellent feedback from members who have purchased in the past from me.

I'm new to BeeKeeping this year. Just doing a course with local association. Am interested in purchasing a nuc if still available?. Does it come with this year's (as opposed to overwintered) queen? Can you also tell me about the strain of bee? The gentler the better as it's my first year!

Bees are a local strain and the queen will be 2011 bred.
I only breed from the most calm hives as I put calmness at the top of the list for new beekeepers
I have never had any bad feedback regards any agression of my nuc's.

We have a member from Northamptonshire who purchased from me last year,so they seem fine for your neck of the woods as well as further south.
