An beekeeper near Wisbech has asked me if I can sell his bees for him in a hurry as he has to move in a few weeks. He is very old and frail and has to give up after 60 years and move into town.
I got my first bees from him.
He is down to just 2 colonies that both have 2 supers on. The hives are old nationals, they are not pristine by any means. Both supers have honey which he has not harvested as he can not lift them.
He would like £165 each for them as they stand. I have had a quick look at them and they are good strong colonies.
If you are interested please pm me and we will arrange a viewing and there after collection. They will be very heavy unless you put clearer boards in first.
Prefer same person to take both or arrange visit at same time.
