    Auction site?

I'm not sure it does remove the right to refuse to sell ... A contract (for sale) is not completed until the seller has accepted the "offer" by the purchaser. This is true even in a high street store. A purchaser offers the retailer 58p for the chocolate bar, the retailer accepts the offer and...

    Hello!

Take your antihistamine before you open your hive (in other words take your antihistamine before you get stung). A tablet takes about 20 to 30 minutes to become effective, by which time a sting has done its damage.

    First visit to a hive

Dave Cushman has a page listing some: http://www.dave-cushman.net/bee/esup.html. Alternatively, Google is your friend! Searching on "Beekeeping Equipment" brought up most of the major and quite a few minor players

Whats the going rate for used kit

How much time will I spend beekeeping?

It's like a Rolls Royce, if you need to know how many miles it does to the gallon, then you can't afford it.

Can I keep bees without taking the honey?

I'm sure I've read somewhere that Varroa is evolving to be less "aggressive" - it doesn't do its own survival any good to wipe out its host.

    Help electric foam cutter DIY

Correction: Watts = Volts x Current (Amps) = Resistance x Current squared. Energy is related to voltage: Energy = Volts Squared divided by Resistance If you're using a car battery, its far easier to gauge your voltage (in terms of number of cells in circuit) than it is to measure your current.

Can I keep bees without taking the honey?

Bee colonies only "die afer 3 years" because of man's exploitation. Man introduced Varroa and other pests. As a youngster before varroa I knew a feral colony in a hollow tree that survived for 15 years to my knowledge - until the tree was exploited and cut down. All UK beekeeping is...

And we can only do this by changing society, banning "neonics" or blaming "Pestco" is not the way to do that.

Try an emulsion paint or a water based paint. I'm not clear why you are using Cuprinol, what are you trying to preserve?

    Greetings from San Diego

Making allowances for different hives and climate, there's not much difference in hobby beekeeping. I find the blog by Beekeeper Linda in Georgia quite interesting! http://beekeeperlinda.blogspot.com/
