Ok looks like ive made errr quite a few Newbee mistakes lol Sooooo where to go, basically fed on top of two supers .. yep you dont need to say it .. one practically empty and one partly drawn. (all the stores in first had been eaten as in brood chamber). Next mistake was feeding 2:1 sugar...

Having fed the bees during the cold wet spell we've had /are having, (and probably over fed with the sugar being a newbee), is there ANY way of telling stored sugar from stored honey ? As usual many thanks for any answers Lance

The only sausages I have are from my (ex) Gloucester old spot pigs ... and very tasty they are too !! (Dont think they would attract many bees but possibly a few Beeks lol).
