    agree with PH, i often add some warm 1:1 syrup with a test frame and definely add warm feed if the test frame has no queens cells. There is a lot of variables that delays a queen laying, a small hive get her laying quickly, large hives after a flow may think they dont need the queen to lay...

    Ten!, why ten, sublimation of apibioxal is with 2.3g per hive (equivalent to 2g of pure oxalic dihydrate). so a two hive owners have to buy enough to sublimated 15 hives not 10 or do you sublimate with 3g per hive?

    I have no problem with 19mm(3/4") pins, I think you have put the pins in wrong part of the wedge, try putting them in through the narrow part of the wedge instead of the wide part of the wedge you can just do it straight down but as others say a 45 degree angled pin is better
