However not everyone belongs to an association so possibly irrelevant for you.
Have had entrance blocks on for a while. Still seeing a few wasps. Lots of pollen going in and as weather still warm here during day am delaying putting miouseguards on for the time being.

I am interested in this thread as have started treatment after removing all honey supers. Having extracted them is it now safe to put wet supers back on for clearing or will they become tainted?

I had a bad set back last year when stung on forehead through suit and had a very bad reaction with swelling that closed my eyes for a couple of days.
I alos lost a colony to wasps robbing out despite reducing entrance to one/two bees width...
I had same problem last two days. So Searched forum and found lots of ideas.
One I had not thought of was that she might be already gone but as I could not see sealed queen cell was uncertain.
So I did a true shook swarm into a new brood box and hoped I shaked the queen in. Very nerve...

So in meantime if me, (as a 1st year novice) I would collect swarm and rehouse them in brood box again but with a Q/E under to prevent queen going again. Orientate hive entrance at least 90 degrees from parent hive.

What if you do not want casts should you go in and disturb again, breaking down any new QC's?
I have done an A/S and there is no room on other side of original hive to move boxes to. What should be done to negate catses?

Just checked on most exposed hives and added a strap to one, (other already had one). Glad had 150mm deep roofs and bricks ontop as gale force winds and driving rain.
