What to do with refined beeswax

Hi guys,

I've got in in total just over 17lb of refined beeswax from my hives.

How am I best getting my money's worth from it, I've no idea what it's work or wether I'm better selling it or exchanging it for foundation through thrones

Advice appreciated

Store your wax until you have over 50lbs available and then pay for it to be processed into foundation and wired (where releveant). This is a much better deal than just doing a straight swap for foundation.

And you could get into candlemaking with some of it as well - ?
I really enjoy making dipped candles, and other people seem to like them as well, even though mine are far from prize-winningly good specimens.

Lip balm, candles, soap, shoe polish, furniture polish and these are only the things I can think of off the top of my head.

Yes - as noted, Thornes provide that service and as far as I am aware, Peter Kemble (Kemble Bee Supplies) does so as well. I havent had much dealings with Maisemores but they do a wax exchange service and so may also do a wax processing service as well.
