hi what is 7/16" of a inch in mm as me and a freind are disagreeing in the answer. I know some one on here will know as they have built plenty of hives ...

many thanks in advance

7/16th = 0.4375 inches = 11.1125mm

11mm.

Fair play to anyone with a fine enough saw blade to worry about the decimals of a mm...

In the spirit of "teach a man to fish" and all that - if you type into google 7/16 inch in mm it will convert it. It does weird units to, so 30mph is the same as 80,640 furlongs per fortnight.
