What forage can you actually provide in a garden

Planting for bees on a small scale is a bit futile imho but planting for ourselves with side benefits for bees and other nature is most sensible so fruit, beans and ornamental plants of use to them would be my suggestion, the raspberries are lovely this year.

There are more bees than honeybees
I love watching the mason and leafcutter bees filling their little tunnels in the space I provide. The garden is busy with all sort of bumble, bee and wasp thanks to the flowers I provide.
As far as honey bees go they enjoy crocus ( I have thousands planted in the apiary as well as the garden), simple rambling roses, sedums, lavender, sea holly, asters, simple dahlias, holly, alder buckthorn and cosmos. These are a few in no particular blooming order.
