sample pots or cosmetic sample pots, I think mine were 3ml pots, the 5ml pots aren't much bigger and could probably hold near to 5g

Has anyone got one of these and a gas vap scoop, and some api bioxal? If so would be interested to hear what weight it holds.

A gas vap scoop holds a little over 1.5g of oxalic acid. If you use Apibioxal, it would of course be a little less.

But it depends on how compacted the OA is, I've had small 'lumps' of crystals weigh almost twice as much as fine powdered crystals, both measured onto the scales with the same measuring scoop.

You're absolutely right. The first scoop I weighed was 1.65g, then I squeezed the scoop against the edge of the container with a little more powder and the weight was 1.8g. I could have gone on. I guess you have to be consistent - and keep your OA powder dry.
