Over the past 8 days we have had high pressure over us with chilly nights but warm sunny days. The bees have been very busy gathering pollen, water and possibly a little nectar (gorse). A weigh today showed that of the 8 colonies I have at home 4 INCREASED in weight, not by a lot, the others showed a SMALL decrease.
A varroa count gave an average daily natural mite drop of between 0 and 0.75 mites, so the Autumn Apiguard and Winter OA seems to have done the trick.
