Hi guys

I sit and watch the bees come and go like I'm sure most of you do .
I have 3 hives , I've notice around all hives are bees that seem to be struggling to fly . They take off and then go to ground then try again .
Is it's the bees that are dying off ?

Still learning :sorry:

Hi Mickyboy,
It could be, but it could also be Chronic Paralysis Bee Virus as a consequence of a heavy Varroa load. Have you checked your Varroa count lately?

Are there any dead bees on the ground and if so do they have chewed looking wings. Are there brown streaks down the front of the hive? A bit more info and we might be able to guess better! Hope it's all ok, if you are really worried call in a bee inspector or an experienced beek to have a look

Thanks for the input so far

The bees all look healthy with wings in tacked an no obvious sign of Varro . They are about 6ft infront of the hive on the ground
