think ahead about Varroa i came across this link, has anyone any thoughts about this type of treatment?

Searching sound treatment for varroa suggests no effect on either varroa or bees under controlled conditions. I'll stick to vapour treatment thanks.
 
This one might be of interest. Continuous release of oregano oil has a high varrocide activity. Considered food safe, problem is you currently need AC power and the authors acknowledge that if this to be used then battery/solar delivery systems will be required.
Sounds promising in the plug it in and forget about it for 4 weeks principal.
