Varroa Mite ?

Snapped this guy earlier foraging on Mahonia. Assuming this is a v.mite ?

You are more knowledgeable than me but i would say that is bird poop on the leaves.

Looked again and it looks small for Varroa don't listen to me though, know body else does.. lol

My Bad

Need to alter photo , as i thought I had , so mite ( i am sure ) can be seen of the abdomen ( not talking about detritus on leaf ).
 
Hopefully better enhanced pic.

Appears it is one of the little gits now that I can see it better !.

I think it's probably part of the bee - the coxa, or possibly the pleuron. The photo is from an angle one doesn't often see - slightly from below.
 
I just posted a question in Beginners section - NOT varroa mite - trying to identify some tiny mites seen this morning.
