Unpleasant colony - what would you do?

Immediate effect of queen change? Yes pretty much so.

The weather recently would try the temper of a saint, let alone a grouchy colony.

When you get inspected by the bee inspector, just say 'this one is all yours' and retire inside for a cup of tea......makes me smile....pity really cos he s a nice bloke but ....

but at least I've got a colony that I can work with.

that's good news. a nasty colony of bees can take all the enjoyment away from beekeeping
