Hello everyone. It's that time again on the north west coast of Scotland that the bees are getting going and starting to expand. However, today I checked the hives for the second time this year, and noticed 2 eggs laid in one cell. This was only in 3 or 4 cells that I could see, but was the same in both my hives.
Both are small colonies just now, over wintering on 4 and 5 frames after a terrible year last year, but made it through the winter fine. Just wondering if this is a mishap or could be something else. Plenty of BIAS, lots of eggs both worker and drone.
Thanks in advance.
