I have a few lime trees which have been in place around fifteen years. They haven't been of any particular benefit towards honey production but this year the leaves are being regularly investigated by wasps. No noticeable aphid infestation so I'm wondering if we have any plant experts who know if lime leaves have extra floral nectaries? No bees are on them but there's plenty of other bee forage about. My coralberry bushes have come into flower and bees are all over them.

Lime tree also secreet sap which wasps will feed off of. I have lime trees next to my house and when parked their at this time of year, heaps of little brown dots on my white vans! Looks like rust but is actually tree sap. The wasps will go for that.
