Nice clear display.

Mine is a cheap import from HK and the display and grey scale no where near as clear.

this is a cheapo from HK as well, about £18 IIRC.

In answer to your question - Yes.

I'll see if I can take a picture like yours of the display with a bright light behind to compare.
 
I bought one from HK recently with oil for calibrating it, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a sticky or vid on how to use one of these?

I know the basic principle and have read the instructions, but insight is oh so much better for background.
