I'm back home on my user friendly PC so you may notice more question's in a short space of time before i disappear again.. lol ..

Thistles anyway as the title say's is my question, my lovely little bumble bee's.. (whoop's honey bee's) lol.. are still are still frequenting them as they have done among other forage for the past several monthes.. we do have field's full of them at the moment most dieing of into seed but many are still flowering.. Are they good for Nectar or pollen as i have never seen a pollen load carried away from thistle flower's yet..

Also.. broad leaf willow herb which is not supposed to produce much nectar..but the bee's love it with little pollen load..?

My bees are hammering it too, they seem to prefer it to rosebay, bramble and balsam, all of which are available here, does anyone know what the honey is like? is it a light or dark honey?
