As I approach the end of my first summer as a beekeeper I want thank everyone who has helped me through the steep learning curve that is beekeeping.

Without this forum many [more] bees would have been lost as I have felt out of my depth on more than one [or ten/twenty/thirty] occasions. I go into the winter armed with knowledge I would never have thought I even needed last April and with healthy colonies that I think will have the best chance of making it through to next year.

Again, thank you all.

Dito. Similar situation here, started with a small cast swarm that had its problems (lost Q & inexperienced bee keeper to list just two) and a steep learning curve for me. Thanks to this site I now have a mentor who is leading me through the mine field of bee keeping and my doomed cast swarm is now in a nuc with a good chance of over wintering
Thanks

And me, we will never stop learning, I am still learning from this forum, I hope I am able to impart some of my experiences to others. Three cheers for the forum.

I concur.

I even find myself reading an original post and working out what I would do before scrolling down to read replies. I don't think you can ever know it all in this game. It's a continual learning cycle

I'd like to add my thanks too.

Crappy first season with the drought, but lots of experience gained, also thanks to the help here on the forum.
