Taking the bees to the heather.

What type of floor is best when taking bees to the moors, open mesh or solid. I am getting prepared to take a couple of hives to the moors in the next few weeks and wondered what the best floor is to use thanks.

Wish I was taking mine to the heather!

The guy I bought some bought earlier in the year kept them on solid floors, but I don't know if that was for a reason or through preference
