Hello,
I have inherited a Strainaway vacuum filter and settling tank. I reckon the tank would hold about 100lb; the filter a bit less but obviously it can be topped up.
The idea is that you put honey in the top and it filters through the mesh bottom into the tank below. Then you jar it via the honey gate.
I believe it's all in working order, though I've never used it to check - I can't see anything wrong with it!

I have no idea of its original price as I can only find one other reference to one for sale on the internet, which is 'as new' for £50 a few years ago. There's also a post on this forum saying that it's good.
Open to offers; can post for £8, or pick up from Cambridge.

PS I've given it a clean myself but you'll probably want to give it a going over yourself - it has been in a loft for a good while.
