Spring flow at last ?

Temperatures on the up, no frosts and high teens daytime for the week ahead, and just as important - RAIN

Inspected all ours today and supers noticeably heavier than last week, strongest hives are capping top and second supers - couple more weeks and it'll be time to get the extractor out of the garage again

I agree. I only have 2 hives. Well 3 including the AS from yesterday but, 2.
We had about 7-8 capped frames last week and yesterday the supers were full. End frames nectar but harvested 50lbs of honey from 4 nearly full supers today and gave them the supers back to start again.

Not sure where they found it all in a week.

I'm certainly hoping we may get a flow now, as it has been so dry.

But it's been raining through the night and still is, so fingers crossed for some lovely nectar...
