Greetings,
I need to relocate my hives in the near future, and I would like to make a split from the fullest hive,
Is it best to do the split whilst the hives are at present ,or wait until they have been relocated,

it is best to move a split to another yard. Otherwise most of bees return to the original hive. All foragers will return.

Put some brood to the nuc. On mere combs bees get nervous and they may escape with queen.

It doesn't really matter. It may make them easier to move to split them and move them almost in the same action, especially if they are in two brood box's now.
