Hello everyone
is it possible to make a split without any frames of brood, just shaking nurse bees in a 6 frames nuc and one day later introducing a mated queen. The frames I would use would be mainly honey and some foundationless frames. The reason for it is that I want to start to work with deep frames and only have at the moment 14x12 frames.( and some deep frames but just honey and drone brood)

I guess so. It's called a package.
How many frames of nurse bees would advise me to shake, they are 14x12 frames.
Many thanks

You would need to take into account flying bees that will return to main hive, you could move else where or try putting grass in the entrance as to get them to re orientation.
