Real beekeepers only worry when the snow is 4 metres deep : above their house rooftop..
:willy_nilly:

From a 'whisky' drinking keeper here in the far south-east, there a bra breeze blowing in off the southern North Sea!! Might as well be on the Moray coast by the feel of it.

.
Yesterday we had +10C warm.

All fields are covered with 20-30 cm snow.
In the woods there are 50 cm snow.

2 kilometres from my window a bear broke my neigbour beekeeper's hive and then it went to sleep to its cave on the birch hill. I can see the hill from my window.
Bees attacked on bear because it has rolled in the snow several times and there were dead bees in rolling sites.

The bear went propably sleep into the cave because it was two foot prints in and one out. So told the neighbour.

Ok finman .... You win..... I'd rather have snow than snow AND bears!!!

gone cold here as well. Put the supers on most of the hives, before i went on holidays. Nothing happend since
