Snails

Silex. I think my dog would be drawn to the beer slug traps before the slugs were.

I have been up a ladder to get the plums and the snails are still above my head - until they hit the paving as long as my aim is good.

Some copper strips are on order for next year. This year I have just resorted to picking the plums a little under ripe - before the snails get to them.

r take a two litre empty bottle to your local pub and ask the landlord if he'll empty his slop trays from his pumps into it for you to take home.
