Hi,

Picked up a little swarm today, from the same place i collected my first one about two weeks ago. So far they are doing well, brood box is full of brood and first new bees will emerge soon. But what to do with this tiny swarm?
at the moment they are in the hive with five frames ( foundation ), they started building etc..

had a idea to join them with sisters in main hive.. or should i just leave them alone and let them do what they do best? But there isn't many of them. Will cover may be only three or four combs. And it is a long way to go till first bees will emerge.

Thanks,
Lauri:toetap05:

Could you give them a frame of brood from another hive to get them going ?

Edit: Sorry just seen you only have the other hive

well, the other hive is just a two week old swarm which is getting weaker at the moment because there is no fresh bees yet, about six days to go..
