niceThe pile of offcuts under my mitre saw (which generally get turned into kindling) has reached the height of the stand now. I was looking at them the other day thinking that I could turn them into bird boxes and perhaps even hedgehog houses rather than chopping them up. Not sure I will get around to it in time this year though. Could end up being a Summer project for next year.
i have been making owl boxes from reclaimed pallet wood....using a router for watertight joints etc.....need larger expanse of wood for barn owl boxes but havent found a free source yet
off cuts would make good smaller bird boxes and bat boxes etc
