Hi,got my first ever bees early in May.Think it was a caste swarm.Anyway all is going well.have seen the Queen and marked her.Now have about 8 frames of comb with brood and stores. For the last 3 weeks I have been giving them a litre per week, via a rapid feeder.of sugar syrup which they have been taking.Should I continue feeding them? Thanks.

There will be better informed people than me answering this post probably but I think you'll find that if they have stores they won't need further feeding else they'll just keep on taking syrup down and storing it - unless the bad weather continues they should be storing the nectar they collect themselves. Just keep an eye on them in case they use up their stores

Feeding encourages the bees to draw he foundation, is all the foundation drawn? Is there room for the queen to lay? Ifyou have frames that are undrawn you could move them up to the edge of the broodnest one at a time to encourage them to draw the foundation.
