Short Spells of Bad Weather

This may be a silly question and I suspect that the answer is 'don't worry, the bees will cope' but I did an inspection yesterday and found that two of my three colonies have 5 full frames of brood, lots of bees but very little in the way of stores. I'm guessing that they are making income now as there is plenty in flower (blossom, dandelion, early rape seed etc) but today is wet and cold all day.

So my question is: how well does a rapidly expanding colony cope with a day or two of poor weather if it's low on stores? In other words, how long before I have a problem? I'm reluctant to slap rapid feeders on because obviously I don't want them storing syrup in the supers I put on yesterday. Tomorrow's weather looks much better.

Most likely to be fine. One thing to check at each inspection is whether they have enough stores to last until next inspection. I generally make sure they have at least two full frames in Bb
