I notice that most honey appears to be sold in screw top jars and not the twist top, is there any good reason for this?

hmm the difference is?

screw top is the older style, the drawback{over the twist cap} is the bigger metal contact with the rim allowing over time rust to form on the rim.not nice.thats why you should have a fairly short sell by date on your honey, the honey stays fine its the lids.
