greetings,
advice please,
I would like to screen our hives from our good neighbours, using willow canes wired together about two meters wide, question! is it best to do it at night when all the bees are in residence, cheers in advance.

Common sense says yes but I doubt it matters much.

Try in daytime and if unhappy do it in evening or put beesuit on. What else?

greetings,
muchisimo gracias for your replies,
my main concern was for the bees, early in the morning and late evening the bees work the honeysuckle and the bird of paradise tree, and the screen will block the flight line, so, tonights the night, again thanks for replying, J.

good luck juanito, lets know if the bees were ok with their new obstacle bee-smillie

screen.

6.45 am, not even light and the honeysuckle outside the office window !a posh word for junkroom! is vibrating with bees, same with the bird of paradise tree, it seems the screen is OK with everyone.
hasta luego.
Ps, the outside temperature is a massive 32C, the time now is 8.15 pm.
