I was using Apidea Mating Nucs for the first time today. The roller cages I have with don’t fit between the cut outs in the top of the frames, so I had to suspend the queen cell on wire, through some of the comb I took with it, not really ideal, the bees were from a Q- colony, so it may work.
Anyhow, can anyone recommend roller cages that will fit through the Apidea frame aperture and also not sit proud of the plastic crown board.
Thanks Nick

Thanks, ahh the penny has just dropped, the Apidea cover is recessed for the roller cage. I had a Nicot roller cage and thought it stuck out through the crown board too much to the cover to fit. I am on a bit of a learning curve with this.
