Hey
So i have a queen cell in a nuc and it is now open. By my counting and i can't be sure on my days i thought she was late out.
I was wondering if the queen dies in a cell do the bees pull her out and if so does it look any different? We had thunder recently and i was told that it can kill bees in cells the same was it does to chicks in eggs.
I have 2 queen cells in 2 boxes and one is slightly smaller hole than the other. I was wondering the options that may have happened.
I thought she could have been out and all ok
She could be dead and pulled out
And she could have been either of the above and that maybe the bees had started taking down the cell so thats why one was wider opening than the other.
