Hi,

One of our hives has lost its queen. Does anyone have a queen for sale or suggestions on the best method to combine with another hive before winter sets in?

Thanks in advance.

If you can't get hold of a queen you need to unite. How far away is the queenless colony from a queen right 1?

Then uniting is easy. Just move the queenless hive to the other. If you put a sheet of newspaper above the queen right colony and put the other brood chamber above that and replace the crown board and roof.
