Did anyone catch on the TV news mention of Slovak Bee Farmers, wishing to recall 1.8 million Queens because they have discovered they have a defect that sometimes causes the swarm instinct to get stuck on. Previously believed to be caused by loose carpet.
No? I bet both Toyota and Honda wishes the recall notices had been about someone else's bees.
Just try to imagine recalling 1.8 million motor cars, merely to top up the windscreen wiasher bottle. That would be a fairly major undertaking that would put a dent in the budget forecast.
If it turns out to be an ECU firmware problem, it could be really expensive. No wonder Toyota have been blaming the carpet for the last year and more in the hope that it might eventually go away.
Exploding batteries anyone?
