The heather is still going quite strong up here, and when you walk through the bushes plumes of pollen are clearly visable.
Just been into my hives today to take the harvest and in one hive about 4 frames are packed both sides with lime green pollen and then an arc of Honey.
Would this cause a problem as to amount of space available for winter stores as I have so far never seen so much pollen going into my end of season preparations.
Queens in 2 hives have not taken notice to reduce laying as of yet. Weather still looking good for the next week so will let them cap the remaining heather frames.
Many thanks
