I have had my ups and downs over the past couple of moths with Virgin Queens not getting mated and my one Queen - colony turning into a laying worker colony, a test frame from Beefriendly was put into that laying worker colony on 4th July and they produced one Queen cell that emerged and lone behold i have a egg laying machine in the angry laying worker colony.
My Rumanian Buckfast Queen stopped laying a while back through lack of stores and being robbed, after feeding she has started laying again, the only sad thing is the Queen that B+ give me must have been damaged in a move i had to do through robbing again so i united the Q- Nuc to the Q+ Nuc and all is fine with plenty of bees to cover the new brood.
I did not look in my other hive as it started lashing down but i know they will be ok by the activity at the entrance.
From doom and gloom and wanting three hives to go into winter i finally have that thanks to all the friendly folk on here, happy day's
Thank you.
