Considering the weather has not been too bad here and there has been a lot of coming and going into the hive, cant see much in the way of any more foundation drawn since last weekend. They have built a little bit of bridge comb. Queenie is about plenty of capped brood, larvae on some drone larvae along with two play cups empty full frame of stored honey on the end. thought they would have done a bit more this week

Mine are the same, they just love flying, when it comes to drawing foundation you must be kidding but give them a hint of a millimetre to produce their own design and there it will appear in days.

Checked a week ago still nothing to speak of in half brood this week they've drawn out about 7or 8 frames and filled quite a lot of them too! With honey though not brood. Tonnes of sealed brood in deep brood along with eggs only a few drone cells and a fair bit of open brood.

Did not see the queen again though only seen her twice in 5 inspections she's marked green too but good at hiding. Do most folk see their queen on every visit?

Also is it time to add a qe and a super as it came in 7 odd frames of nectar in the last week I think I should on weekend.

as long as queen is laying a good pattern they will expand as nectar flow allows, look for eggs rather than the queen. add a super when box is more or less full of bees, covering about 9 frames
