Any reason why have you an entrance reducer in?

I'd have thought it would be best to remove it during a flow
 
They're coping in and out if it gets too hectic it'll come out its easier for them to defend at moment
I will 2nd that mine will be staying on all the time but it is 100mm wide and 8mm high and 100mm deep and not much can get through that other than bees, they do look busy by the way good luck with the season.

Ooo I forgot I have a long slot too on the back I shall flip it over lol
