moved a hive question!

i moved a hive this morning for the first time from the country to a big back garden in the middle of my town,i have three hives,one with a 2nd/3rd year queen and the other two are last years queens,i moved one of the hives with last years young queen,am hoping that with all the towny gardens and flowers they'll do well, my question is was there any advantage in moving a young queen over the older one to a area with what i think has piles more stuff for them to forage on??

The bees in each hive will decide when they want to change to a younger queen!

You're correct - there is better forage for bees in the middle of towny gardens!
