For any MBKA or WBKA member who wishes to attend (or indeed any visitors!)
Just a quick reminder about this year's Quiz Night which will take the place of our usual monthly meeting at 7.30pm on Monday 26th November 2018 at Broughton Gifford Village Hall.
What is it?
The format is simple: teams of up to 6 players, a small £1 contribution from each player and we all compete to get the right answers on some taxing questions, mostly bee related but with some odd random ones thrown in there, just to mix it up. It was a great evening last year, with lots of preparation from quiz master Andy Tyrer to ensure the questions were both varied and difficult enough to build plenty of competition (and heckling!) between the teams. This year it promises to be just as much fun and there will again be prizes for the winning team. Come along and test your knowledge - you might find you know a bit more than you think. Alternatively, if you think you know it all already, come along - we need you!
Will there be refreshments?
Yes! Drinks (wine, beer and soft drinks) will be provided by the club but please bring a plate of food with you to share; sweet or savoury, shop bought or home made it doesn't matter, everything is welcome.
Do I need to bring anything?
As always, donations for the raffle prizes on the night will be appreciated; have you got any spare Christmas gifts hanging around that you don't know who to give to? Bought too many bottles, chocolates or stocking fillers? Whatever it is, bring it along and let's see if we can fill the table, raise some decent money and give the raffle winners something great to take home with them for Christmas. Don't forget, every penny goes towards the club so the more prizes the merrier.
Do I need to do anything?
Please let us know whether you'll be coming or not. In order for us to get some idea of numbers I've put an online Doodle Poll together. Please can you just click on the link below and tick the right box, together with your beverage preferences so we can make sure we buy enough bottles We wouldn't want to run out!
