in all 10 colonies today

am working in london every week at the moment now so hardly any time at home to check, so was pleased to have a first look

all had plenty of stores...think i over do the autumn feed

most had 2-3 frames of BIA with one having 4 (only checked one level of the two on double brood, so not sure if there was brood in the other box, assuming not)

lots of pollen going in

when do people remove woodpecker protection?

Woodpeckers normally hit in colder weather so would say any time you like.

Far to early to pull the brood nest apart..the weather may be nice for now but i know for a fact it will get cold and miserable again..wrong move IMHO ..how will the poor little devils fix the damage you have caused..

I never remove the telescopic sights....just in case
